Safe for another 18 months...

The election is now over. I just got home from work. I started my shift at work at 10:15am. I am too wired to go to sleep and have to be back there at 10:15am. Here's looking at 3ish hours of sleep tonight. But at least I get that much. 3 of my co-workers work the morning show, which means they worked from 4:30am Monday morning and their shift starts in 2 hours. No sleep for them. Aren't there laws against that kind of thing?

The only law I know of regarding overwork is for any shift to exceed 16hrs, after which the company will be held responsible for any accident the overworked employee may be affected by.

And make sure you're logging the OT and shift premiums.
