Scary but Sweet
Shingo Mama no Oha Rock!
This little video from a Japanese kids's show looks all kinds of strange, you have a cross dressing host, a group of people dancing in unison, James Brown and what I believe are a popular Japanes boy band (don't ask me which one) shouting "Oha" repeatedly, in addition to cheap video effects.
From the little Japanese I understand, I believe the song is saying to children:
When you get up in the morning and head to the breakfast table, take time to say "Oha" (a shortened form of Ohayo gozaimasu or Good morning) to all your family: Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Grandfather, Grandmother before sitting down to that delicious breakfast Mama has made.
I think this makes a lot of sense. Most families today don't do the sit down dinner at the end of the day where they meet as a family. Mom is usually running 1 kid to some sports or club thing, while Dad takes the other to something else. The only time most families are together is when they are all dragged out of bed in the morning. Families only work if there is communication. Maybe telling kids while they are still young and impressionalbe to talk to their family will actually help.
Or (gasp!) am I being too optimistic?

You think a cross dressing host is odd? Look up "Hard Gay" for an interesting Japanese celeb.
