Not Anarchy in the UK

More like Monarchy on a Sunday.

Tomorrow, TBIT and I plan to catch 2 movies at Canada Square: The Queen at 1:30 - run time 1:37 and then The Last King of Scotland at 3:50.
It's been a long time since we've done anything like that so it should be fun if our bums hold up.

Update: Both movies were great. Two very different movies, in style, plot, theme, but both wonderfully scripted, shot, and acted. I was really impressed with Forrest Whittaker in The Last King of Scotland. The movie is seen through the eyes of a young, just-out-school Scottish doctor looking to do something interesting and adventurous, so as not to turn in to his staid father, a family practitioner. Whittaker is fascinating to watch as Amin: he plays the character with this joviality that could turn homicidal in a blink. I wouldn't say he overplayed the role, instead he walked a fine line as this psychopath/paranoid narcissistic. Very creepy. The entire movie had me tense, just knowing that any second he could act in brutal violence to any and every one.

How was Last King. I want to see it. Saw the Queen. Quite creepy how much they look like the real life counterparts.
