November 21, 2003 Hmm, did I actually blogg anything tonight....no, no, I didn't. Strange, I could have sworn I blogged something.

November 20, 2003 Part of conversation over heard on Yonge subway as we came home from the GTA Blogger get-together:

Girl: "...and so, I was at like, this spa where they had, you know, re(mumble) yoga..."
Guy: *interrrupting* "Reggae yoga? What's that?"
Girl: "No, no, like regular yoga - every morning they held classes!"

Now, what would Reggae yoga be like? You smoke a spliff and very languidly go through a series of poses? Poses aren't static but involve swaying and bobbing to that oh, so insinuous reggae beat? Hmmm, I wonder if I could start The Next Big Thing.

Is anybody really surprised by this? I think it is more surprising that his money was unable to protect him this time but...

Now that I have the lyrics I can sing along when the show airs on CBC (which it will on December 16 at 8:00, according to their schedule search.)

Last night I had to drag out the huge tin I keep the cat food in, to top up the kitties' bowls with fresh kibble. The pantry door had not swung as wide open as I thought, so when I swung my torso to drag the tin, my forehead connected with the door knob with a skull resounding whack! Today, I have a lovely raised red crescent on my forehead which is tender for about 1 inch around it. ·  6:48 PM : 0 comments

November 17, 2003 How is it possible that, after having 4 days off work, the first thought in my head as I sit down to start working is "I really need a day off..."?!! I soooooo hate Mondays.

November 16, 2003 It has been my birthday for over 2 whole hours now...I WANT my presents.
Birthday memories:

Sweet 16 - Dad's unemployed. Mom's working part-time job to put food on the table. I come home from school to find a McCain Deep'n Delicious chocolate cake on the kitchen table with a single candle and a note from Mom saying "Happy Sweet 16."

21st Birthday - In an apartment on Hollis St. in Halifax. Toast buys me a baked alaska instead of a usual birthday cake. When he tells me I open the freezer and don't see it. When I ask him where it is, he tells me it is in the fridge. He doesn't realize it is ice cream and cake. Find cake and deflated meringue floating in 2 inches of melted ice cream. After soothing a very upset Toast, we sit on the floor with spoons and eat soggy cake from box, giggling madly.

23rd Birthday - In a house in Belleville, Ontario while attending Loyalist College. Skip classes with world's best roommate Amber and friend Ron to take train to Kingston. We spend the day wandering the streets and shopping. Best birthday possible without Toast (who is living/working in Ottawa).

Okay, I admit it. I really enjoy them. In Ontario, it airs on Mondays at 7pm and again on Saturdays at 1am on YTV.
I have always thought Raven was the coolest of the group back in the early comic days but now that the cartoon has made her angst ridden goth girl, her cool factor has shot even higher. Yay, sardonic deadpan delivery!

Oh, and the Engrish pop song opening by Puffy AmiYumi just makes me giggle.

They've got the bad guys on the run
They never stop ‘till the job gets done
Cuz when the world is losin' all control
Teen Titans GO!
