Now that the rest of the gang is blogging, we can actually keep in touch with each other. Rather than the sporadic email, we can visit each other daily to keep an eye on what the other person is doing, what's new in their life and just have a general check-up on friends that are so far away. It is a great thing to be able to do this. It's really hard to keep in touch with friends far away, even when you really don't want to lose the friendship. It is entirely too easy to let weeks and then months go by without realizing that you have been out of touch. This is great! This is wonderful!

Yes, it has taken years of research and billions in funding in order to bring you the conversations like these:

Manoubergrande: "...My butt still has a crack in it"
Mukey: "I'm more pork..."
The Count: "So it really makes me a extra super freak that the celebrity object of my desire is Diane Wiest"
TBIT: "Excuse me while I go scratch my tongue with a fork"

June 21, 2004 I think there is a lotion or something for this

Don't ask me why, but I was doing a search for examples of covers to pulp novels about lesbianism in the 50s-60s and found this site.
They certainly don't make 'em like they used to, ne?

"All New Sock Stories" - huh?

June 20, 2004 Toast must have had a glass of V-8 with his breakfast and left the glass sitting here on the desk beside the computer. The glass is basically empty except for a tiny bit at the very bottom. My cat, Balthazar, is currently sitting on the desk beside the glass. As I am typing, he is dipping a paw into the glass (thus into the V-8) and then licking his paw. He has been doing it for about a minute now. So not only does he like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Cadbury Dairy Milk bars and salsa, he drinks V-8. What a weird cat.
