Celebrity of Murder
Yesterday was the 16th anniversary of the largest Canadian spree killing when an insane man shouting "I hate feminists" opened fire on a classroom of female engineering students, killing 14.
Just out of curiousity, I asked some of my co-workers to name a victim of the Montreal Massacre. While 90% could name the murderer, no one could give a name to any of the murdered young women.
