So Does This Prove I'm a Mutant?
Posted are samples of sound at different frequencies. It's said that people are born hearing between 20 Hz (low) up to 20,000 Hz (high) but that range shrinks as we get older. I could hear all the frequencies posted and my ears are now ringing. I guess this explains why if TBIT leaves the stereo amp on in the living room, the hissing of the speakers can wake me up from sleep in the bedroom.
Interesting to note, I could not hear the cycled sound to repel the mosquitoes on Sample One but I became very anxious listening to it. Then, as I played Sample Two, I winced and had to turn it off immediately. It also makes my ears pop.
