Squeaky Rat Gets the Tickle
So the researchers who explained to us "Why Dogs Smile and Chimpanzees Cry" show us that rats giggle. Way too cute. Makes me want a little rat-zaroni to tickle.
I know rats like to play. My first pet rat, Bonnie, would run around on my bed while I lay there listening to music and doing my homework. She would decide I had worked enough, run over, steal the pen out of my hand and run away with it. I would have to wrestle her to get it back. She would then let me have it back for a little while before stealing it again. I think that if rats laugh, Bonnie - the amazing sweet little soul she was - laughed a lot.
