Cleaning Frenzy

TBIT's parents are in town, currently staying with TBIT's aunt. Tomorrow, they arrive here to stay with us for a few days. TBIT's father, who still doesn't approve of our living arrangement, will be spending only his second time under our roof. The first time was about 6 years ago in Montreal when his parents stayed just overnight.
So today, despite the heat, I am scrubbing the bathroom and the kitchen. TBIT has already cleaned the office/guest room. Later, the furniture will be vacuumed, the futon cover laundered and we will dust again.
The problem with cleaning in the heat is the cats. The cats shed more in the heat; I sweep up the cat hair; the cats shed more hair. And more hair. And more hair. I've seen dust bunnies that could be mistaken for another cat. Even after I've swept, an errant breeze will loosen a dust bunny to go wandering across the floor like a tumbleweed.
